It's been a busy couple of weeks in Kindergarten. We've been studying day and night (the moon, nocturnal animals) and learning new letters and words! The children have been doing a great job at both Literacy and Math Centers. It's so exciting to see how much they've grown already!
So far we've learned the letters/sounds: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T, U
The words we have worked with so far have been: I, A, ME, SEE, IS, YOU
Yesterday, the kindergarten presented at the Whole School Community Meeting. We sang songs, named nocturnal animals, and shared facts about bats and owls. The children did an amazing job, and made us proud! Here are some pictures from our meeting! Great job to our 6 speakers!
